I signed up, why haven’t you reached out?
Right now, we don’t have any playtests planned.
Apart from that, this is how it works:
Everyone who signed up will get a survey to apply to a playtest. Based on that, testers are invited based on the schedule and preferences.
Just answer honestly and you will most likely get invited when a game is your style! :)
What are playtests?
It’s really important to us to see how players feel about our games, and how they interact with them!
That´s why we invite you to play our VR games in development, to allow us to learn what you like & don't like about them.
Who can playtest?
Anyone over 18, since you need to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before trying out our new games (which essentially means you agree not to talk about what you played).
We’re looking for players of all abilities, genders, experiences, and backgrounds.
How do I get invited to playtests?
You need to sign up to receive playtest invites on this website.
When there’s an opportunity to playtest we will send out an information email and an application survey.
Please add playtest@fasttravelgames.com to your mail contacts, so you don't miss any invitations (sometimes they end up in the spam folder).
How do I know if I’m selected to playtest?
When there’s an opportunity to playtest we will send out an information email and an application survey. If you get selected, we’ll contact you with more information and book a time!
What’s expected of me during a playtest?
We want you to play the VR game like you normally would!
The exception is that we love to hear what you think, and encourage you to speak aloud during the play session.
Afterwards, we’ll ask a few questions about what you though of the experience.
It doesn’t matter how you perform when you play, or how much experience you have. We test the game, not you, so any opinion is valid and appreciated!
Sometimes we ask you to play for a while before the session, but you’ll always get that information up front.
Where is the playtest?
We run playtests both online and in our office in Stockholm, Sweden. You’ll always get to know beforehand which one you sign up for through the application survey!
Do I need to prepare for the playtest?
Sometimes we want you to play beforehand, but we will make that clear in the application survey. Most times it’s just come as you are and play as usual!
You won’t be judged by how you play, or what feedback you give. It’s what you’re there for!
How long are playtests?
Playtests typically take around one hour, but you will know from the information email and application survey.
Do I get a reward?
As a thank you for your time, you can choose one or more Fast Travel Game(s) of your choice, depending on the playtest.
How do I cancel?
Please email us at playtest@fasttravelgames.com as soon as possible to cancel.
Who will be there?
Most of the times, it’s just you and the playtest leader. Sometimes you play alone whenever it fits you, and submit feedback!
You will always get information about the test before it starts.
It’s a very relaxed environment, there’s no pressure to perform, and your feedback will be made anonymous after the test.
